Amazing morning class with Frobeg, great value and lovely setting

Experienced teachers. Art-filled studio. It is a treat to practice yoga here.

YogAntigua classes focus on healing, rejuvinating and refreshing the body. The teachers manage to pepper challenge, philosophy, therapy, adjustment, relatability, personal attention and love throughout straighforward sequencing. Its an immaculate space with high cielings and outside there are welcoming gardens and restaurant chatter! Its a bit tricky to find the first time inside the hotel. (I mapped Méson Panza Verde after the first debacle.) Head up the spiral stone staircase into a wonderland.

Here I attended a balanced refreshing and awakening yoga class taught by Frobeg. If I lived here I would be a regular. The space is magical and calming, and the yoga instruction very professional. Compared to many vinyasa classes, the rhythm is a slow build and you don’t realize how much work happened in the body until the end. It is a great way to restore the body from the physical demands of travel, in a trusted environment. Then downstairs to panza verde for breakfast!

I took Mariale’s class on Sunday morning and it was a very soothing and relaxing class. I really liked the breath work at the beginning of the class. The pace was very nice for stretching and opening the body.
