Jose, our server, was just so kind and humble and amazing and so attentive. Marvin was not our waiter but he was super sweet also. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The first thing I noticed from the outside was the beautiful romantic ambience of the door and the landscaped garden. Then when you go inside it’s full of life and plants and grass. The outside has nice lights for each table along w candles. The inside is brighter with paintings and lights and trees. The ambience is so lovely that we wanted to enjoy the moment and stay til closing at 9pm. That’s also because the food was so savory and intentionally made for every bite to be enjoyed. The brisket was very good meat and not fatty. And it was surrounded by mashed sweet plantains. On the side it had a mashed yuca with box choy and grape vermouth infused in it along with other flavors. The brisket meat was good but the brown sauce was a bit too strong and sweet for me. The roasanta salad was fresh and each item was so good from the greens to grapes to oranges to onions and the dressing was so good also. The tenderloin was very good and perfectly cooked the way we asked (medium rare), the potatoes were layered like Mille feuille pastry pieces and the flavors were really good. All food was not salty and a perfect level of salt so we enjoyed the food very much that we would have been happy to stay all night if we good. The other guests also stayed for many hours enjoying the food and ambience. This is a really quality restaurant and they deserve all 5 stars for their attention to detail, wonderful chef, and great and hard working staff. I loved that the music was not loud and it was peaceful to enjoy being w others here. Please don’t throw out your leftovers (sobras). Instead, please take it to go and give it to the homeless dogs who are hungry, and nobody is taking care of them or neutering or spaying them. I added a picture of my leftovers in aluminum foil to give to dogs and there are so many.
