A kitchen inside a wardrobe. Nana is a vintage clothing store that surrounds the dining room which drives the ambiance to a place where the intention is to give life to discarded elements, even discarded cooking techniques. A vintage clothing store and a restaurant that gives love to the forgotten past and makes its way by adding attention to the movement of sustainability and appreciation of local ingredients.
“Cannot go wrong here! We love Nana. One of the best dining experiences (and shopping) in Antigua. So much attention to detail and the whole place is thoughtfully curated, from art/decor to every glass and plate. We asked Rodri, the chef and owner, for recommendations with the menu. We tried several small plates, two mains, and two desserts. All were delicious and beautifully presented with well-balanced flavors. Nice wine selection too.” – Hyungjoon Jin
“Is this the best restaurant in Antigua? I think it could be. I just couldn’t try every restaurant in town to confirm. The dishes are unique and well balanced. The atmosphere is cool and hip. The staff is friendly. They have excellent homemade sour dough bread. The chocolate cake? Get it. I’m a huge fan of the effort and time they have put into their food and experience for others to enjoy. This place is a must if you’re spending any time in Antigua and want a nice meal.” – Benjamin Heiber
