The bulgogi was perfect after riding in busses for 20 hours. It was a little heavier on vegetables than beef, and it had more of a homemade taste than what you get in restaurants in Texas or Colorado.

Went there with my family including 2 young kids. Everyone was very accommodating even when they were being difficult and when i made a mistake ordering. Better Korean food than i’ve had anywhere in NYC.

This was my favorite meal in Antigua! Actually, maybe even my favorite meal for the whole Guatemala trip! The seafood pancake was the perfect mixture of flavor, chewiness and crispiness. The japchae was a bit salty but still oh so delicious. Enjoyed this meal so much that we came back a second time on our last day! Highly recommended if you want some authentic flavorful Korean food and a break from local fare 😋

I had a lunch and it was excellent with Korean savour.

It started promisingly, with a sense of freshness and ambition. Yet the experience appears to be gradually deteriorating - particularly the service, which has become remarkably inconsistent, slopy and at times unnecessarily rude, in the absence of ownership.

Before expanding the visibility and fame of your new opening (ANCHE) perhaps the priority should be mastering one concept properly: sustained quality, refinement, hospitality, and operational consistency. Growth without depth risks dilution.

Antigua Guatemala deserves establishments that elevate its gastronomic identity with substance, character, and long-term excellence — not a drift toward interchangeable mediocrity under the wave of average, trend-driven concepts, Asian in particular.
