A month of Indian food deprivation since I have been traveling and as a rule don't sample anything but the cuisine of the land where I am.
But, seeing the reviews of Delhi6 I thought it was maybe worth making an exception.
Being an Indian and a foodie, I can tell you that chef Sunil Singh is superlative in every sense of the word.
The butter chicken was flawless and I literally wiped the bowl of dal makhani clean. The naans were superbly crispy, just the way I love them.
Maybe the servers could had been nicer especially when I asked for an extra mint which probably costs 5 pence and I was stunned by the abrupt NO. Only one per person.
It is not even that the food was cheap. It compared with the prices of The Porta Hotel where I was staying which is a five star.
Anyways, 5 Stars to chef Sunil and Delhi6 and I would so strongly recommend that you try his delightful offerings.
p.s. He personally came out twice to ask every guest if they were satisfied with the food which was a very warm gesture. Full marks.
