Understanding Hypothetical Situations

Spanish speakers often describe situations that are imaginary, uncertain, or dependent on a condition. These situations are called hypothetical situations. They usually combine a condition with a possible result. In this module, you will learn how to describe hypothetical situations using conditional structures in Spanish.

Hypothetical situations describe events that could happen under certain circumstances.

End of Module Review

In this module, you learned how to describe hypothetical situations in Spanish using conditional structures. These sentences combine a condition introduced by si with a possible result expressed in the conditional tense. Understanding these structures allows you to discuss possibilities, ideas, and imagined situations more naturally in Spanish.
