Casa Palopó was truly one of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, every detail felt thoughtful, luxurious, and incredibly welcoming. The staff went above and beyond throughout my stay. I genuinely felt cared for and attended to at every turn. Everyone was so friendly, generous, and committed to making the experience exceptional.

One of my favorite touches was being greeted each morning with a cacao wellness shot, which perfectly set the tone for a relaxing day. The views are absolutely breathtaking and unlike anything I've experienced before. Whether enjoying a meal, relaxing by the pool, or simply taking in the scenery, the beauty of Lake Atitlán is unforgettable.

The amenities were immaculate, beautifully maintained, and felt truly luxurious. Every space on the property was designed to create a sense of comfort, tranquility, and indulgence.

I think about this trip all the time and cannot wait to return. If you're considering a stay at Casa Palopó, do yourself a favor and book it! you won't regret it.

Our stay at Casa Palopa was amazing. Not only was the property beautiful, but the service stood out above all else. Communication was very clear and exceeded all our expectations. The transfers were very well coordinated and our driver Martin was excellent! He picked us up from Antigua and then taking us to the airport early in the morning to catch an early flight. He even turned the car around when I left a valuable in Antigua, very kind and understanding. I highly recommend this hotel and it is well worth the price. Above all else the food and the staff were phenomenal, I highly recommend and I hope to visit again soon!

We thoroughly loved our experience at this property—where does one even begin?

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. We were greeted immediately at the gate by Juan and the staff, who helped with our luggage. The check-in process was seamless, and we were seated inside with a refreshing hibiscus welcome drink while we took in the breathtaking views. The "wow" moment hit us the second we stepped onto the property.

The special touches truly set this place apart. Every morning, a selection of cocoa and other drinks was delivered directly to our room—a delightful way to start the day. The evening turndown service was another highlight; we always returned to find creative surprises on the bed, accompanied by a card and small local souvenirs. (The worry doll was my personal favorite!)

For anyone staying here, a trip to the top of the hill is a must. The infinity pool and jacuzzi offer absolutely stunning, "to die for" views—the perfect way to spend a relaxing afternoon.

While our room rate included a fair breakfast, I believe the experience could be elevated even further by offering guests a small à la carte menu with a few additional choices. This would complement the existing offering beautifully.

Overall, this was a phenomenal stay, and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

Visited Casa Palopo for a dinner. Location is great, place is beautiful. Service was nice however server seemed in a rush. Food was good but not up to Relais & Chateau and Michelin expectations. I felt that the dishes could have been a little more savoury.

This was the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. Everyone was incredibly kind and so accommodating. We are going to miss being here, and are so grateful for everything! Thank you for making our stay so incredible!
