Patients appreciate Dr. Samayoa’s willingness to explain procedures, discuss treatment options, and provide individualized care. The clinic focuses on helping patients better understand their skin health while offering professional dermatological services in a convenient location in Antigua Guatemala. However, there were a limited amount of reviews available and the ones that are, they are mixed. Some appreciating Dr. Samayoa’s service, and others complaining about misdiagnosis, failed treatments, and rushed appointments.

I have personally visited Dr. Samayoa twice. The first time, he quickly diagnosed that I had shingles on my shoulder and provided me the treatment needed to resolve the issue and it did. The second time, he determined that what I needed would be best be serviced by a plastic surgeon. Did I feel he rushed through the appointment? Not really. I believe he made his diagnosis and suggested treatment. I didn’t feel like I couldn’t stay longer if I had more questions. There were also several people waiting in the lobby.
