Barback (Ayudante de Barra) y Runner (Ayudante de Mesero)

Lura Sun Club is a rooftop bar, restaurant and terrace in the heart of Antigua Guatemala. We are hiring Barbacks (Ayudantes de Barra) and Runners (Ayudantes de Mesero) to support our bar and floor teams. Full time, flexible schedule covering day, evening and weekend shifts. No previous experience required. We train.

Lura Sun Club es un bar, restaurante y terraza en azotea en el corazón de La Antigua Guatemala. Estamos contratando Ayudantes de Barra (Barback) y Ayudantes de Mesero (Runner) para apoyar a los equipos de barra y de piso. Tiempo completo, horario flexible que cubre turnos de día, noche y fin de semana. No se requiere experiencia previa. Nosotros capacitamos.

BARBACK / AYUDANTE DE BARRA (English)
Stock the bar with ice, glassware, garnishes, beer and liquor.
Cut fruit and prepare mixes and garnishes before service.
Wash, polish and restock glassware.
Keep the bar clean, dry and organized during and after service.
Support the bartenders through peak hours.

RUNNER / AYUDANTE DE MESERO (English)
Deliver food and drinks from the kitchen and bar to the correct table.
Clear tables and return glassware and plates to the wash station.
Reset and prepare tables between guests.
Restock service stations.
Support the waitstaff so tables are attended quickly.

AYUDANTE DE BARRA / BARBACK (Español)
Abastecer la barra con hielo, cristalería, guarniciones, cerveza y licor.
Cortar fruta y preparar mezclas y guarniciones antes del servicio.
Lavar, pulir y reponer cristalería.
Mantener la barra limpia, seca y ordenada durante y después del servicio.
Apoyar a los bartenders en las horas pico.

AYUDANTE DE MESERO / RUNNER (Español)
Llevar alimentos y bebidas de la cocina y la barra a la mesa correcta.
Levantar mesas y llevar cristalería y platos al área de lavado.
Preparar las mesas entre clientes.
Reabastecer las estaciones de servicio.
Apoyar a los meseros para que las mesas se atiendan rápido.

REQUIREMENTS (English)
Spanish required.
Basic English helpful for the Runner position. Not required for Barback.
Reliable and punctual.
Able to work standing through long shifts, weekends and holidays.
Team oriented and willing to learn.
Legal documents to work in Guatemala.
No previous experience required. We train.

REQUISITOS (Español)
Español indispensable.
Inglés básico es una ventaja para el puesto de Ayudante de Mesero. No se requiere para Ayudante de Barra.
Responsable y puntual.
Capacidad para trabajar de pie durante turnos largos, fines de semana y días festivos.
Trabajo en equipo y disposición para aprender.
Documentos legales para trabajar en Guatemala.
No se requiere experiencia previa. Nosotros capacitamos.
