Beautiful hostel in El Paredon. The staff were SUPER helpful and friendly. They helped us upgrade our room without issue and they also brought my partners pancakes out with candles (that I supplied) singing Happy Birthday on the morning of her birthday.

The events that they put on are amazing from a social aspect. The family dinner inparticular was phenomenal and one of the best meals we had in Paredon. Pool area is great to hang out in, very beautiful and the place in general was really enjoyable to hang out in.

Food was good, room (private) was beautiful and clean, throughly enjoyed the stay.

On the pricier side but we enjoyed the stay.

Very beautiful hostel with an excellent location! I stayed in the igloo dorm and the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the AC at night was perfect. Very nice pool and restaurant area, a small gym, and plenty of activities to enjoy. The staff, especially Tete, were friendly and helpful with anything I needed.

I didn't stay very long, but I booked a 1 hour begginer's surfing session with Tony. He was very kind and knowledgeable, and made it overall a wonderful experience!

If you are looking for a place to unwind and meet new people, Mellow Hostel is just that.

Amazing hostel! The people, the atmosphere, the food, the drinks! It does not get better than Mellow! The rooms are amazing and comfortable, the showers are great, the food from the kitchen is delicious! Love that there is a big pool and a bar, with some volleyball too and an outdoor gym! Looking forward to coming back soon!

One of the most popular hostels in town, and also one of the nicest. I don’t think I would classify this as a party Hostel but it is definitely a social Hostel that it is fun has a lot of activities and events. On Friday night They host a techno/DJ night that usually has a fairly big turnout.

The Hostel is on the upper east side of town a little bit out of the way but for El Paredon that’s only a 2-5 minute walk. it’s only a five minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the main Super24.

I also rented a surfboard here and got my surf lessons here as well. I also organized my shuttle to the lake here as well. I also took a yoga class here. It was very nice.

They don’t have a kitchen for cooking, but they have a full restaurant and a full bar. I do have to say the food was quite tasty. I really enjoyed the breakfast burrito.

The washrooms are beautiful and that’s nothing compared to the dorms. Probably some of the nicest dorms I’ve ever had to stay in in a hostel. Very clean very spacious and the beds are very comfortable and every dorm has great AC. Wifi was just okay though but you can’t have everything!

The pool is very nice. They have a volleyball net. They also have a slack line and many hammocks throughout the entire hostel. They also have a pool table and a ping-pong table as well as a Nintendo 64 on the TV. And to top it all off, they also have a full gym with a rack, bar, free weights, etc. it’s an outdoor space and it’s free for guests to use, but if you’re not a guest, you have to pay a fee.

All in all, I had a great experience at mellow Hostel definitely would recommend to my friends. It is a tad pricier than other hostels in El Peron however, I would say it’s definitely worth it.
