We stopped in for an early breakfast around 6:45am, one of the few places that was open that early. We got two Cubans for us, the breakfast casserole for our kid, and a latte. The Cuban was surprisingly amazing! Didn’t expect it to be so good, pretty similar to an authentic Cuban. Casserole was bland, they said it was 3 days old. The latte was subpar though most of the coffee we had in Guatemala was. I’ve been trying coffees through out all of Guatemala for the last week and the caffeine in all of them have been weak. You may be better off going to a Starbucks or a McDonald’s for a strong coffee. Great place and location though!

We randomly found Bru’d while visiting downtown Antigua, and it was such a great experience! My cappucino was delicious, and I’m going to be thinking about the chicken pot pie and house made potato chips for the rest of my life.
The location is perfect, right next to the arch. And the high-speed WiFi was a huge bonus. The owner came by our table and we had a nice discussion about American football and how he and his wife started Bru’d. I cannot recommend this place enough.
