What a great experience, real Guatemalan and international fusion with excellent flavours, not pretentious but perfect and neat. We been served by a lovely Cuban waiter. Can’t recommend it enough.

Questo piccolo ristorante ha un'atmosfera davvero rilassante ed è curato nei minimi dettagli. I prezzi di alcune cose sono un po' alti, ma il sapore del cibo è molto buono. Le tortilla chips con la guacamole e la loro salsa piccante sono state il nostro piatto preferito. Il cameriere è super gentile, il servizio nel complesso è buono, solo un po' lento, ma siamo in vacanza :)

We had a phenomenally good dinner at Maxán and loved every single dish - especially the ceviche, which was absolutely outstanding. You can really taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients, and the presentation is beautiful. The staff is super attentive and friendly, and the restaurant itself is gorgeous, with a great atmosphere for a relaxed but special night out.

We visited on a Wednesday evening and it was quite quiet, but don’t be misled by that. This place deserves way more attention. If you’re looking for excellent food, great service, and a beautiful setting, Maxán is a must-visit.
