The thought of Italian food in Guatemala wasn't high on my list, but the reviews and menu all looked wonderful so we gave it a try. Very happy we did as it was some of the best Italian food we have had anywhere. My wife got the lasagna with bechamel sauce and said it was the best and lightest lasagna she had every tasted. Other dishes we got was the shrimp ravioli and the black pasta with shrimp and lobster. Both were also delicious. Service was very attentive, and it was a great dining experience. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I traveled from Virginia in the US. Before leaving Antigua, we had lunch at Carlos & Carlos. It was absolutely amazing! We shared the Calamari for appetizer, my husband had the Black Pasta, I had the Salmon Ravioli and we shared the Tiramisu for dessert. Everything was so fresh and tasted amazing. Would recommend to all looking for a great place to eat!

My husband and I decided to dine at Carlos y Carlos last night after we walked by the restaurant yesterday afternoon and saw them making some of the pasta from scratch. We are so glad that we did. Rolando made the most incredible romantic evening for us at one of the special tables. We will remember his kindness and service as a highlight of our trip. We enjoyed the Pasta Checa and the Penna a La Farcita, the food was fresh and the flavors were unforgettable. Dining at Carlos y Carlos has been a highlight of our trip so far and we will be back another time before we return home, and I recommend you dine there if you love authentic Italian and appreciate a special class of service
