Excellent Authentic Cooking Experience Experience I had the opportunity to experience Cuscun as part of my itinerary while traveling through Guatemala. It was my first day in the country, and it provided a truly authentic and wonderful start to my trip. I enjoyed learning about the founder and their story, and I felt they did an excellent job selecting their team and location. The course took place on a rooftop with stunning views of the landscape. We had the chance to enjoy the lesson, sip drinks, and watch the sunset as we prepared dinner. At the end, they generously shared the recipes so we could recreate the dishes at home. This was a unique experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I look forward to visiting their location in Colombia someday. Wishing them all the best!

Great authentic cooking class! My husband and I had a fantastic time participating in this cooking class! We learned a lot and helped make a delicious 3 course meal. We have tried to recreate these dishes back home. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Market Tour and Cooking Class! This was a wonderful cooking class. It started with a tour of the local produce market (as well as the 2nd hand clothing market), an explanation for how the market functions and a discussion of the "chicken buses" that bring people to the market from various towns around Antigua. Then, we went to a lovely house just out of town and learned how to cook Guatemalan appetizers, a chicken and vegetable stew with rice and a deep fried chocolate-plantain desert. The setting for the cooking and eating was on the roof of the house with great views of the surrounding hills. I strongly recommend this class for anyone thinking about taking a cooking class!

Outstanding experience! We had so much fun from the moment they picked us up until they dropped us off! The chef and her assistants were outstanding and knowledgeable. We learned to make the traditional foods, which turned out to be so flavorful. The preparation and the meal were all accompanied by wine if you liked. The setting was on the rooftop, open air and beautiful. For the rest of our trip in Antigua, we continued to tell others about the event and how much fun we had. It was definitely a highlight of our time in Antigua!

what a wonderful time with wonderful people if you want an amazing experience and enjoy food, this is the one for you. We asked if they would take us to the market to shop for food. So we added an extra hour on our trip and had a guided tour of the market and shopping experience. If you can add this it is completely worth it. We had been through the market already, but it is a different experience with a local guide who will answer all your questions and even ones you didn't ask. There are two kitchens. One indoors and one on the rooftop.
Cooking and eating on the rooftop kitchen was perfect for us.
If the cooking school will send a person to help you travel on the Chicken Busses to the school, DO IT! Don't wimp out and go with a personal driver. What fun is that?
Oh, if Pompan is available, you want him as your guide and translator. He is absolutely the best!
