I have to say this was a mesmerizing experience that anyone who visits Antigua should do. Nikki, Manuel, and cowboys were great to deal with. Initially, we were concerned about the horses as some companies don’t take proper care of the animals, but after speaking to Nikki and Manuel and seeing how healthy the horses look, our concerns were put to rest. Not only do they take great care of them, they are actually one of the few, if not the only, nonprofit organizations in the area that devote their time and resources to helping the horses in the area and adopting horses in need. That was the icing on the cake.

The view and the experience are one of a kind. This will apply to seasoned riders or first-timers. The scenery of the volcanoes/lava and surrounding mountains while you ride is second to none. My entire family loved it from my youngest 7-year-old daughter to my wife, who was initially concerned about the little one. But the horses were well-trained, and the cowboys were attentive and always making sure we were safe.

The food was excellent as well. If we had more time, we would do it again. That’s how magical this experience was.

Don’t leave Antigua without experiencing this. You will regret it.

BEST TOUR EVER!! This was the highlight of our trip to Guatemala!! A MUST DO. Both me and my partner have never ridden a horse before this tour so we didn’t know what to expect. The cowboys made it effortless for us along with our horses, Manchas and Capitán. Lori was such a fun tour guide along with Jimmy and the cowboys. & The lava pizza was better than any pizza you’d find in any restaurant! We danced, drank wine, shared stories, pet the volcano dogs, and laughed a bunch. If I could give this tour a 1000/10 I would!

A+++ experience! Amazing experience from start to finish. Absolutely stunning views, great company and personable guides. The horses are well cared for and in great health - Nikki was a pleasure to communicate with in setting up the tour and Manuel was an A+. The ride from Antigua to the stables is manageable- about 45 mins and the ride up and down is the perfect duration. Sipping wine and eating pizza at sunset is magical. Highly recommend the full experience.

Unforgettable This was the highlight of our trip to Guatemala! Miguel and Niki are not only great hosts, but amazing people. They took our group of 10 up the Pacaya volcano for an unforgettable experience. Our 10 year old son (who does not have experience riding horses) also went and we never felt unsafe nor any issue with the horse nor the trail. The view and time on the volcano was increíble. The views are breathtaking! The pizza and wine were the best.
We recommend this adventure to anyone e! We had some people who have had back issues in the past and had no issues at all during this trip! This trip was a hit with the 50 year olds, the teenagers ans the 10 year old! Great for everyone!
