Meson Panza Verde

Didn’t stay at hotel and only reviewing the restaurant where my colleagues and I went to dinner. Service was excellent, food was very well-presented and delicious and their ample drinks menu will quench your thirst. I ordered the Shrimp Pineapple entree and loved it! Will come back again when I am in Antigua.

Had dinner last night at Mesón Panza Verde in Antigua, and the place is just as magical as it was when I first visited over 30 years ago. The ambience is romantic and elegant, everything beautifully maintained, and the service from all the staff is consistently kind and professional.

The food was superb. We had the beef ribs with tamarind, a veggie risotto, and the onion soup. Every dish was perfectly prepared and amazingly delicious. A timeless experience that continues to live up to its reputation.

We went to this restaurant for lunch on a recommendation and we were not disappointed! The duck thigh with blackberry sauce was out of this world. The tuna tartare was so amazing that I couldn't even wait to get a picture. Also, the restaurant was beautiful! If we return to Antigua we will definitely stay in this hotel as well.

Wonderful location. Quiet and beautiful. Our room was a little musty but coming out of rainy season here so not sure you can find a place without that. Beautiful and would stay again. Breakfast is amazing and delicious

For about $300 a night you will get a piece Of heaven and wonderful dreams in this beautiful hotel with Spanish influence in all of its architecture. The grounds are kept so beautifully with the plants and trees, and the three staff work very hard to keep the beauty of the nature preserved here in Skyland multiple levels of the hotel and roof. There is a little pool as well indoors.
