I've stayed in this hotel before and it's okay but the pool is cold. I'm only writing about my dining experience there
I ordered eggs benedict there for lunch that was terrible and the food wasn't hot. Also the role they gave me was stale and dry. The food there used to be very good now it's only so-so at best and it wasn't worth the money. Hire a new chef.

I’m on my way to have more duck at Mesón Panza verde before leaving Antigua. I came one night and ordered the octopus for appetizer and the duck as main course. It was the most delicious duck I’ve ever tried, so much, that I had to order it again. And I am on my last day and I will not leave without having it one more time. We also had the tarta basca for dessert. Omg 🤯. Everything was just delicious. We tried many other high end restaurants, from casa Escobar, tartines, etc, all extremely good but nothing compared to this. Will make the list of my favorite restaurants around the world and one to come back to soon.

We were seated in the garden surrounded by greenery and hanging lights, which created a peaceful and intimate setting. The service was exceptional: attentive, warm, and professional without ever feeling intrusive.

The food was outstanding. The duck was perfectly cooked and served with a silky purée and a rich, balanced sauce that was both elegant and comforting. The fish dish was fresh and beautifully prepared, topped with almonds and herbs, accompanied by perfectly cooked vegetables and crispy potatoes. Every plate was thoughtfully presented and full of flavor.

We paired dinner with a refreshing Pinot Grigio, which complemented the meal perfectly and made for a wonderful toast in this unforgettable setting.

Mesón Panza Verde manages to combine fine dining with the charm and soul of Antigua. It’s the kind of place where you want to linger over wine and conversation while enjoying the beauty of the courtyard.

Didn’t stay at hotel and only reviewing the restaurant where my colleagues and I went to dinner. Service was excellent, food was very well-presented and delicious and their ample drinks menu will quench your thirst. I ordered the Shrimp Pineapple entree and loved it! Will come back again when I am in Antigua.
