If you’re looking for a seafood restaurant the way locals like to eat it, look no further. This place serves mainly ceviches, Guatemalan-style seafood dishes, and beer Guatemalans like to drink with a spicy set of condiments that is considered a hangover cure to many. Even though this became a Sunday tradition for locals, any day will be a good day to try Hugo’s ceviches.
“Excellent food with nice portions. The ambience was chill and staff were fast and courteous and the price is right. For sure a great place within the area.” -Kai Cooper
“My fiancé and I stumbled upon this location and were pleasantly surprised at the quality and craftsmanship behind the ceviches and their unique Picosita cervezas. The two gentlemen were on point preparing our camaron (shrimp) ceviches in tandem. The lime juice, pickled onions, sea salt, English sauce and cilantro made it flavour town. We had ceviche in Peru and this was right up there! Definitely go even if it’s for their unique Picositas or to watch them make it!” -Stefan U
