A sleek, clean, well designed cafe with nice music and strong wifi, ideal for a temporary workspace. The staff is warm and friendly and will make you feel right at home. This is literally a diamond in the rough.
“Guatemala is a country full of culture and traditions and it was a truly pleasurable meeting Edwin and sharing in the richness of Guatemala’s emerging coffee culture. Nativo is certainly a stellar coffee shop in terms of its beautiful design and aesthetics that would rival the most trendy coffee shop anywhere, but Edwin’s enthusiasm for Guatemalan coffee really sold me Nativo and makes it a place I would recommend to anyone passing through Lake Atitlan.
The knowledge and passion this establishment puts into every cup of coffee is evident and you will not be disappointed if you are connoisseur with their many different varieties of beans and methods of preparation. As a bonus I had one of my favorite meals at Nativo as well, and I really savored the chilaquiles I was lucky enough to try from their brunch menu on a Saturday visit.
