Centrally located on the very active Calle Santander in Panajachel, this is great place for people watching. They also serve more than just brick oven pizza. A wide variety of menu items including tacos, meat dishes, pasta, and breakfast.
Lazzaroni Pizza has a broad casual menu, but the pizza itself produces more divided reactions than some of the restaurant’s other dishes. Diners who enjoy it tend to like the generous, cheesy style; others find the dough too thick or the balance too heavy.
Calzones, tacos with fries, and the menú del día receive some of the most dependable positive comments. Pizza complaints usually focus on too much cheese, too little sauce, or a thick crust rather than a lack of portion size.
Staff are often friendly, though service can be inconsistent, and TV noise or cleanliness has bothered some visitors. There is also an isolated illness report in the review set, but it is not established as a recurring issue.
