This is definitely a party hostel, so if you’re planning to go to bed early it might be better to stay somewhere else. But if you’re in the mood to party and socialize, it’s a great place. Quiet hours start at 10pm.
The facilities and rooms were nice, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The location is excellent — right in the center of town and close to restaurants and the boats.
There’s also a bar inside with a good menu and reasonable prices. Breakfast is included and you can choose between three options (a typical breakfast, fruit pancakes, or avocado toast). The only downside is that it starts at 8am, which is a bit late considering many shuttles and tours leave around the same time.

Demurely a party hostel so attracts a younger crowd. Rooms are really small but it was 4 people sharing a bathroom which was decent. Enjoyed the breakfast and view from the top terrace is nice. Communal areas just felt very run down and grubby. Wouldn’t stay again. Great if you’re 18-25. Anyone older, I’d find something quieter and cleaner.

I had a good stay here at Dreamboat Hostel.

Even though it is a party hostel, I didn't Eben socialize here (I befriended two people elsewhere in Panajachel and spent time with them).

The one employee let me have five minutes on the rooftop at 6am which was the highlight of my stay in Panajachel.

I couldn't take advantage of the free breakfast as it was 8am start time, and I needed to start my day by 7:30am.

When I checked in I met two people who were very drunk in the bar area and it was only 5pm. So just be prepared for that.

Again, it's a party hostel. They even had a beer bong on hand too.

I also heard someone vomiting in the neighboring dorm at 5am. I assume it was alcohol induced rather than food poisoning.

The 6 person dorm rooms are a bit small. People in the room complained how small it was.

The toilet clogged once but staff fixed it within a few hours.

They shut down the music and bar and kick everyone out by 10pm, but you'll hear random yelling throughout the night. It's not a big deal if you're a heavy sleeper like me.

Staff really cleaned up the garbage well in the room in the morning.

If I was in a party mood, I'd rebook here again.

Staff did a great job of booking my shuttle and bus from Pana to Flores. They arranged for me to have the semicama seat from Guatemala City to Flores.

Enjoyed me stay. Staff are great! The food is really good especially the family dinner.
Hot water in the shower although the shower head was a bit weird.
Bed was comfortable. Beds semi private with half the bunk covered. Could do with some curtains.
I found my room to be quiet and wifi worked well.

Crazy hostel!! If you want a fun night, they will make sure you have a great time here. The food is delicious and they make sure to keep this place clean. Huge shoutout to all the workers, volunteers and owners who made it a blast!
