“Xibalba Studio is an incredibly special place – one of those places that sticks with you long after you’ve visited and becomes part of the trip narrative you share with family and friends. This may sound like a lofty claim for a jewelry boutique… but it’s true because Xibalba Studio is so much more than that. It’s a beautifully executed homage to the regions century’s old relationship with jade. The space integrates storefront and artisan workshop. They offer stunning jade and silver pieces made in house as well as a impeccably curated works from other local artisans and shops. Be prepared to want to buy everything. Seriously 😳😂 Weekly jade carving classes allow visitors to partake in the process and create a custom piece to take home – guided by the expert team, it’s impossible to walk away with a piece that’s anything less than stunning. Xibalba’s passion for their craft is palpable and inspiring. Visiting (and doing the workshop, if you have time) is an absolute must if you are in Antigua!” -Jamie Dineen
