Ceramic Workshop

Ceramic Workshop

This workshop offers the opportunity to mold, design and decorate your own ceramic piece guided by a master craftsman who will show the complete process to work the clay and transform it into traditional crafts from the area.

What to Expect:

Pottery was used by the Mayas in all areas of their life, both social and spiritual. The artisans are the ones who have kept this tradition alive throughout history, which has evolved into an artistic technique while preserving its connection with the past.

Expect the elaboration of a souvenir in clay in the traditional local way in a workshop in the city of Jocotenango a 5 min drive away from the city enter of Antigua.
