Very interesting tour and chance to see textiles being made. A nice trip from Antigua with a shop to buy vintage textiles at the end, for a good price.

I had a wonderful time here today! Upon arrival Danilo took me on a tour of the museum showed examples of textiles from various towns which demonstrated the great diversity in culture that exists in Guatemala. Afterwards I took a cooking class making Pepián with Jacqueline over an open fire. After a delicious lunch, Claudia taught me how to use a backstrap loom. Learning how much dexterity, patience, and time is required to create textiles was deeply humbling. I left with a full stomach and new knowledge.

I used WhatsApp to communicate with them and they were extremely punctual with responses and more than willing to work around my plans. They also speak English and provided many opportunities for me to practice Spanish.

10/10 would recommend!

Se visitan tres salas con tejidos y prendas de diferentes comunidades de Guatemala. Es una experiencia de aprendizaje auténtico con personas locales que valoran su cultura. El tour cuesta 20 Q. Recomiendo!
