Shakti Shala Is one of my favorite yoga studios in the world, and I have practiced at many! For three years, I have been returning to Shakti Shala and scheduling my travels around the studio’s many offerings. The Shala studio is beautiful and welcoming, with all of the props you might need for your practice. It offers a variety of classes in different styles, and most important to me, keeps the Yoga sutras and teachings front and center, on and off the mat. Every teacher is superb, gifted, and kind, and the community there is welcoming and warm.I can’t recommend the Studio highly enough.

I was visiting Guatemala in November and decided to google “best yoga studio in Antigua “ to try to squeeze in a yoga class before heading home and Shakti Yoga Studio came up in my search. I saw that they had an evening class and decided to check the studio out. I was blown away by the space, the knowledge and creative sequencing of the teacher, and the class was PACKED. Coming from Los Angeles, California I was not sure what to expect from a studio in Guatemala, but was blown away by this Shala. I’ve been practicing and teaching yoga for over 20 years and I have to say if you are ever in Antigua do yourself a favor and go to Shakti Yoga studio for a class. You will feel like this is your home studio even after just one visit. ❤️✌🏽

Only stayed a couple of days in Antigua so only had the chance to come once but I highly recommend. Very friendly teacher, welcoming atmosphere and a creative yoga sequence.
