Great hostel at a fantastic location in Antigua. The three level dorm beds are a bit daunting but each bed is outfitted nicely and is soooooo spacious! The included breakfast was always great quality and changed everyday. Very lovely deck upstairs from which you can see Fuego erupt at night , and the downstairs sitting room has a few boardgames and a small library. Clean bathrooms with consistent hot water. The staff is absolutely amazing, going above and beyond with a smile. There was always someone at the desk who spoke fluent English. Maybe not ideal for solotravellers looking to meet people cause the hostel doesn’t host any community events, but the staff are happy to point you in the right direction in terms of bars/restaurants.

Don’t stay here if you’re on vacation and interested in meeting new people as a solo traveler.

Felt more like a college campus study spot than a hostel. The hostel is in a nice location, clean, and has lovely rooftop views, but unfortunately, the standoffish, cold, attitude of the other guests made the vibes feel a bit off-putting. Everyone was doing work on their labtops, avoiding eye contact, and was in bed by 6pm. That’s not exactly the vibe I’m looking for when I’m on vacation. I also couldn’t sleep at night because the rooms are right next to the main road and you hear plenty of noises all throughout the night.

If you’re on a business trip and just looking for somewhere to be in ur own world, do your work, and sleep, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, I’d say to find somewhere else.

I absolutely loved my stay at flore hostel!! The common area and the rooftop were stunning. The bunks were built especially well. But the real shining star was the staff! Daniela was amazing, and there was also one other girl (with black framed glasses I think?) who was also amazing, but every single member of the staff was exceptional. Even the cleaning staff was warm and smiley! I had a few questions via whatsapp before my stay, and it was noticeable how hospitable and kind the customer service was here compared to other hostels. The front desk is only staffed by reception until 9:30 pm, and that includes whatsapp responses. That seems to be the norm around here, but just something to be aware of! Security is still staffed at the odd hours, and they can check you in, but I believe that’s the extent of what they can do. Which is helpful! Just something to note before your stay :)

I stayed here for 4 days at the 6 bed and 12 bed dorms and loved it. The beds are super comfortable and has curtains and plug points. It’s perfect for chilling and has great aesthetics and vibes all around. The terrace is fab with great views. The toilets are clean and neat all day. And if you are going for the hike, they pack breakfast when you leave early. And ofcourse the most important is Karly who makes the whole stay here an absolute joy. She’s always kind and helpful answering all questions and shares good recs. I had requested lower bed when I was given a top bunk and somehow she managed to give it to me. It’s people like her who make visiting a new place even better.And ofcourse people I met here were very social. I would definitely come back.

Honestly stayed in many a hostel over the last three years. This is the CLEANEST one out of them all. It seems like theyre cleaning multiple times a day which is amazing. Bathroom and showers are always spotless. And this is during a busy time! So many people coming in and out. Kudos to the cleaning crew! As someone who cares about that, this place was perfect for me.
