Las Tres Amigas absolutely lives up to its reputation as the number one restaurant in Antigua, Guatemala. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the newly added smash burger truly stole the show—juicy, generously sized and packed with the perfect spicy heat that we love. Our kids were equally happy and devoured their pizza.
What really elevated our experience, though, was the hospitality. The owner personally greeted us, shared his recommendations and checked in often to make sure everything was perfect. We loved hearing his story—originally from the States and now living in Guatemala for over a decade—which made the experience feel even more personal and welcoming.
To top it all off, his talented wife was outside painting a stunning large-scale mural, which completely captured our attention and added such a special, artistic touch to the evening. If I remember correctly, she was also the one who came up with the smashburger recipe!
Truly a lovely, memorable experience from start to finish. Highly recommend.
I forget to mention, the staff was incredibly kind and warm with my kiddos as well. Especially my 18month old, fully exploring his terrible twos 😅
