“The hotel itself was a bit hidden. Our shuttle driver dropped us in front of the door and we went inside. It’s a long hallway and it didn’t look like a hotel at all. You had to enter through another door at the end of said hallway and find yourself in a beautiful courtyard. Up the stairs was our room, it had a bed and a separate bathroom. Another floor above us was a roof terrace with a nice view over the city with some tables, chairs and hammocks. Our host was kind. That’s actually an understatement. He speaks English very well, his wife doesn’t. He gave us some tips for cash withdrawal, convenience stores and such. His wife made us a traditional breakfast and it was awesome. The location is good, it’s a ten minute walk into the center of the city and also only a few minutes up the hill to the cross. From there you have an awesome view over the city. All in all, if you look for a cheap and well placed hotel in Antigua, that’s the one to book! 10/10” -Luca Weber
