I was visiting Guatemala in November and decided to google “best yoga studio in Antigua “ to try to squeeze in a yoga class before heading home and Shakti Yoga Studio came up in my search. I saw that they had an evening class and decided to check the studio out. I was blown away by the space, the knowledge and creative sequencing of the teacher, and the class was PACKED. Coming from Los Angeles, California I was not sure what to expect from a studio in Guatemala, but was blown away by this Shala. I’ve been practicing and teaching yoga for over 20 years and I have to say if you are ever in Antigua do yourself a favor and go to Shakti Yoga studio for a class. You will feel like this is your home studio even after just one visit. ❤️✌🏽

Only stayed a couple of days in Antigua so only had the chance to come once but I highly recommend. Very friendly teacher, welcoming atmosphere and a creative yoga sequence.

Shakti Shala is a real gem in Antigua. My wife and I joined for two months (great value at $95/month unlimited classes) and practiced most days. There’s a great mix of classes from Rocket and Power Vinyasa to Yin, and the teachers are professional, friendly, and very hands-on in helping you improve. The community is warm and welcoming and it’s an easy, safe walk from anywhere in town.
