The coffee and brunch at Casa Donya in Antigua were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and just what you'd hope for in such a charming setting. But what truly made my experience unforgettable was the staff. Everyone I encountered was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Their warmth and hospitality brought the whole place to life and made me feel right at home. Can't recommend it enough—I'll definitely be back!

Staying at this charming boutique hotel was truly the highlight of my trip to Guatemala — so much so that I’ve stayed here twice! The staff is super warm and hospitable and accommodated all of our requests ensuring a smooth stay. Every detail is thoughtfully cared for: the beds were incredibly clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the onsite spa was super restorative, relaxing, and the perfect way to unwind.

The garden cafe inside the hotel served the absolute best coffee I had during my entire stay in Antigua and Another major plus: the internet here is super fast, which made it easy to stay connected and do work when needed.

What really made my experience unforgettable was the private cooking class the host arranged for us with the head chef — such a unique and personalized touch that made me fall in love with the place even more.

I stayed at Casa Donya twice in April 2025 and absolutely loved it!! The property is beautiful with stunning volcano views and I had such a comfortable stay both times. I booked the private room and bathroom which was very sizeable and spacious. During my second visit I booked the family pod and it was perfect for a group of 4, very spacious and we all had such a comfortable sleep. The shared bathrooms are so clean and showers were amazing too! The property is located so central and is a perfect walking distance from everything. It is also in a quieter area and I felt very safe in the neighbourhood. The staff at Casa Donya are all so helpful and kind, they provided such amazing reccomendations and always 10/10 service. The breakfast included was delicious and we loved the coffee, it was some of the best coffee we had in Antigua! We also tried the temezcal/spa experience which was so peaceful and restorative. All in all, staying at Casa Donya was one of the best, most comfortable stays we experienced in all of Antigua. It was our third time visiting Antigua and Casa Donya is hands down the best compared to all the other boutique hostels in town. You won't regret it!

This boutique hotel is a rare find in Antigua. Everywhere you look has a unique charm and it’s surrounded by flowers, greenery, and the sound of nature. The room was beautifully decorated and spotless. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Having breakfast in the Garden Café and watching the beautiful scenery is an experience on its own. I also booked a massage session as well, which I highly recommend after a long day of walking or a hike!

This was a fantastic stay! Great location within Antigua, very close to lots of shops and ruins. The hotel itself was great, with an amazing cafe and spa. It was a very relaxing few days. The service and staff were also very attentive and welcoming.
